We need to remember that Christ came to our earth to save us, not just to rush around town buying gifts to put under that magical tree.
We need to wake up each morning and thank God for the beautiful day that he has given us. Thank him for our families and friends, for the health and wisdom he has given to each of us.
We need to prais him and be gracious to him in each and every thing we say and do. We need to keep him first and everything we say and do. If every one in this world could do that we would have a heaven on earth to live in. Let's all remember that Christ is the reason for the season, and remember it every day!
A few blogs back I showed you this pic of a piece of CQ that I was making for a new eye glass case. Well my daughter Kim came over last Saturday and spent the day with me and she wanted me to make her a pillow out of it. So as any mother would do I started working on a pillow.
This is the pillow that I made for her. As you can see I added some more embellishments. The picture of my mother and dad holding me when I was a baby really caught her eye. She was really close to my mom and dad. She was born on my mothers 40th birthday and was her first grandchild. I had bought a beautiful drape and thats what I made the pillow from and added the lace to the front. Below I will show you a few pics up close.
Hope you like the pics. I think Kim will treasure this for a long time. She doesn't have any children so she will probably hand this down to my only granddaughter Payton.
