A few blogs back I showed you this pic of a piece of CQ that I was making for a new eye glass case. Well my daughter Kim came over last Saturday and spent the day with me and she wanted me to make her a pillow out of it. So as any mother would do I started working on a pillow.
This is the pillow that I made for her. As you can see I added some more embellishments. The picture of my mother and dad holding me when I was a baby really caught her eye. She was really close to my mom and dad. She was born on my mothers 40th birthday and was her first grandchild. I had bought a beautiful drape and thats what I made the pillow from and added the lace to the front. Below I will show you a few pics up close.
Hope you like the pics. I think Kim will treasure this for a long time. She doesn't have any children so she will probably hand this down to my only granddaughter Payton. I love to make heirloom treasures to pass down to a new generation. Hope everyone is having a great time decoratering,shopping and going to Christmas parties. Hugs, Pat
