Here is one of my new teapot chimes that I made this week. I also made one for my daughter Kim and a little one for my son Kent. This one is a teapot, the one I made for Kim is a coffee pot and Kent's is a child's teapot. So cute. I will show you the others later.I will be working with Rick in the morning. We are repairing the feet on a victorian sofa that I found on the curb. Today I found a shelf, it would make a nice entertainment center, but we are going to paint it and put it in the booth for display. It will hold a lot of items. Charlene and I went to lunch Tuesday and then went to JoAnn's to shop and play in the fabric. We both had a wonderful afternoon. Hope everyone has a great Friday.
We did indeed have a blast didn't we? And I do soooooooo hope I can get my outfit for next weekend WHIPPED up & not just have the fabric lay in a pile in "The Horders" stash! :)
The tea pot wind chimes turned out so cute. I bet Kim will love hers & Kent too. Have a great weekend. Hugs from Houston. Charlene
Hi Pat, Computer problems!! sure cramps my style!! So happy to be able to drop by for a visit finally. This chime is fabulous! You are so creative.... I can almost hear it singing! xoxo ((((hugs)))) Maggie
Hi Pat, Your new chimes are awesome! I have a teapot for you, I need to get it to you soon. You found a victorian sofa on the curb!!!!! You are blessed my friend. No one, I mean NO ONE finds curb deals like you. Call me sometime, lets go garage sale-in. Lisa
Thank you for stopping by to meet me and hear about My Tattered Elegance.
My name is Pat, I'm a self taught artist, junker and creative person. I paint on nearly any surface, make ribbon roses one petal at a time, do ribbon embroidery, form roses from the oven baked clay. I also do some sewing for my home.
My favorite pasttime is not going shopping at the mall, it is going shopping at a good yard sale, or fantastic estate sale or a big flea market. The thrill of finding that special something is better than chocolate (and I love chocolate). I'm even one of those ladies that stop and load my car with the cast offs on the side of the curb. Some of the curb trash becomes my best finds.
I'm at home here in Fort Worth, Texas and love it. I have a married daughter, Kim. She doesn't have any children only three cats. I also have a married son, Kent. He has two sons, Bryce and camron. Also one daughter, Payton. She is the one that comes and paints with me. And she loves to use my beads to make jewelry. Grand-daughters are so much fun.
