Thought I would share my latest adventures. I've been doing some jewelery for Christmas. I am using chip china chards and the beautiful ends of silverware. I have wanted to do this for quite a while. These are the first two that I have finished and it was a lot of fun.
I have some more chards ready to go, but need to cut off some more spoons. Guess I will do some more later. I am also going to make some mice ornaments, I did a lot of them a few years ago.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!!!
Looks like you've been a busy little bee!!!! You did a great job & I know that chipping those china pieces takes a lot of time & patience. Miss You! HUGS! Charlene
You are just so-o talented and creative, Pat! I love your "jewelry" line straight from the dining room! Just beautiful! Thank you for stopping by and leaving that nice comment. Happy Holidays to you!
You certainly do a wonderful job Pat with your creations and I'm sure you have a lot of fun doing them. I also like the handbag you did from your other post.
Pat!!! talk about a talented lady... These are gorgeous. I have not seen the earrings done like this before, but I just bought a bracelet done with a fork... I should post a picture. I love the roses charm too... Very beautiful. Thanks too for dropping by my blog... It is always nice to have visitors. I'm afraid I have not been too interesting lately as I have been trying to get through my Xmas orders and art shows... Finally things are slowing down. I will be housebound for awhile since we are having one huge dumping of snow!!!! I knew it would happen....ICK!! xoxo ((((hugs)))) Maggie
Pat, They look beautiful! You keep so busy my friend, grass does not grow under your feet or whatever they say. LOL Are you selling them at the mall? Hope your feeling good. Sick kids & holidays have kept me busy. I might try to get up to Lonestar this week, hope I see you! Have you been to Marios? Lisa
Thank you for stopping by to meet me and hear about My Tattered Elegance.
My name is Pat, I'm a self taught artist, junker and creative person. I paint on nearly any surface, make ribbon roses one petal at a time, do ribbon embroidery, form roses from the oven baked clay. I also do some sewing for my home.
My favorite pasttime is not going shopping at the mall, it is going shopping at a good yard sale, or fantastic estate sale or a big flea market. The thrill of finding that special something is better than chocolate (and I love chocolate). I'm even one of those ladies that stop and load my car with the cast offs on the side of the curb. Some of the curb trash becomes my best finds.
I'm at home here in Fort Worth, Texas and love it. I have a married daughter, Kim. She doesn't have any children only three cats. I also have a married son, Kent. He has two sons, Bryce and camron. Also one daughter, Payton. She is the one that comes and paints with me. And she loves to use my beads to make jewelry. Grand-daughters are so much fun.

Very pretty Pat. I like the way you have added the silverware but isn't that hard? I hate to think of what mine would look like.
I have a bracelet I just love and wear a lot made from 2 handles.
