HOW IS THIS FOR A CURB SIDE FIND?

This is my curb side find.  It was put out in the rain and looked like it was a good chair.  Just needed a little TLC.  I forgot to take pictures of it in its ugly duckling stage, but it had paint spattered all over it.  But, thank goodness it was water based paint and I scrubbed it all off with one of those little nylon dish scrubbers.  Looks pretty good.  The seat was in good shape too, vinyl olive green, but I wanted flowers so I redid the cushion.  I will be taking it to the Cleburne Antique Alley.  It will be perfect for someone's desk and who knows I may run across one of those. Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday.
Hugs, Pat

GOOD JOB!!!!!!!! You always have the LUCK finding goodies for nothing or next to nothing. What pretty lines that chair has. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. This work stuff has had me buried knee deep. But, I think I see light at the end of the tunnel & I DON'T Think It Is A Train!

Also, I wanted to let you know I have you solder tip. That order came yesterday. Talk to you soon. HUGS! Charlene

Hi Pat! I am so happy to be back visiting you. This chair was sure a sweet find! How nice that the paint spatters would scrub right off without chemicals. You made it beautiful by recovering the seat! How I love large scale florals - looks just right on this chair. Thanks for the encouragement over at my place. Happy Valentine's weekend!!

Hello Pat! Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comment!
I also love remaking old chairs, I had posted some in the past, but unfortunately those posts are no longer available on my blog. I was just thinking of posting them again!
Great job! Love the fabric you chose.
Have a nice week,
Monica.
