This is a better view. The old T.V. lets me watch HGTV when I'm working. Need to make my friend a new dress. The baskets hold ribbon, crochet and some material. Patterns and books on the bottom shelf. Along with my surger.
My desk is on the north wall, there is a window on the west at the left side of the desk. I like it since I have a lot of light there. Don't know what happened to my desk, I lost it.
On the east wall is another plastic container holding crochet, fabric and on top a train case holding all my thread for the machine. The chest was my aunts and I keep it for overflow things.
This shelf sits beside the chest . I store all my wooden thread spools, crochet and ribbon in some of these jars. Different kinds of threads, ribbons and things in the containers. Small mofits in the blue box, they are special and below it is fringe.
On the next shelf is some of my books. Mostly the ribbon embroidery and crazy quilt books. The ginger bread metal tin holds my good buttons.
These last shelves hold my prized possessions, my old tattered and bridal lace. I love to collect or a some say hoard old lace. My main objective when I go to sales is finding old lace, buttons, tatting, and crochet. I also love embroidery work. I have a container of that on the bottom shelf too.
The bottom table holds fabric and the top one has another train case with old buttons. The top has one of my favorite lamps on it.
And here is my old singer sewing machine. I bought it a couple of months ago to do some crazy quilting . I love the beautiful stitch that the old machine makes. When I make other things I have a portable machine. It is singer too.

Pat,
This is great!
It does make a lot of difference to have them all painted the same color.
Maybe someday I'll do mine. Right now, I would just settle for getting it organized, and not willing to take it all off to paint. =)
hugs and blessings

Hi Pat,
Red definitely has a lot of energy! I love that old lingerie chest of drawers..is that kind of a light green? I had that and the matching vanity when I was about 11 years old. I wish I had it now! You have everything organized...it's really a pretty space.
I know all about those blasted allergies..take care of yourself..you have plenty of time to visit over 450 other blogs..LOL My goodness what an adventure this is!
It's such a pleasure to be back for the party again this year and visiting all of the wonderful creative souls and their creative space. Thank you for sharing yours with me.
I would love for you to visit with me and stroll through my studio..it's been a labor of love to put together and now after a year in our home putting everything together as it should be I feel like I can "spread my wings" and fly!

love the red, makes everything pop!
Pat,
I would love a chance to dig through all your buckets of lace, tatting, buttons, etc! A girl after my own heart. The chest you have from your Aunt is just divine! I wouldn't mind snitching that train case either tucked on that end table! Thank you for sharing your space and happy creating to you! Xo, Sue
I love crazy quilts and I enjoy doing needle tatting. I wanted to post a comment on your studio and then I'll go back and take a sneak peak at your creations. The red wall in your studio does look very energizing. I think it looks great. Your studio looks very nice. I enjoyed my visit. Connie
Your room is great. I found my mom's step-mother's tatting (needle? threader?) the other day. I have several things she made. Used them on a vintage tree skirt and hang some on the tree at Christmas.
When I found that I thought I would love to find some books on tatting and try to learn.
I love your space an the creataive things you have in it! Don't worry about being late, lots of bloggers posted on the 19th.
I myself didn't post until the
25th. Of July. Just after midnight. Thank you for sharing...it's been fun and uinspiring.
