Here is my wisteria in all its glory. I can't wait each year to see it in full bloom and the fragrance is unbelieveabe when we have a little breeze. I took pictures from different angles. We have lots of wisteria in this little town and most are all climbing trees. This week they are all in bloom. Also took a couple of close ups for you to enjoy.
Oh my goodness, I've never seen anything like that! It's gorgeous! I didn't realize they could climb so high. We found some in the overgrowth around our porch when we first moved into this old place. It never bloomed for us, though. I think it was in a spot that is now completely shady because the trees have grown so large.
Sounds like you'll have a great day visiting the antique malls with a friend. Hope you find some treasures!
Pat I had such a great time on Thursday! Such a fun girls day out! "Honey" liked all the goodies or I should say he liked everything he saw. You know...you have to take stuff out a little at a time. :) I did a post today about a spring tea party & used the photos I took of your wisteria. Check it out & let me know what you think. Hope you like it! Talk to you soon.
Oh wisteria is one of the God's gifts that we all appreciate but never get long enough to see it..... driving around I see it growing in places that have been long torn down but the trees and wisteria have stayed.... it calms me and makes my takes my breath away....
Thank you for stopping by to meet me and hear about My Tattered Elegance.
My name is Pat, I'm a self taught artist, junker and creative person. I paint on nearly any surface, make ribbon roses one petal at a time, do ribbon embroidery, form roses from the oven baked clay. I also do some sewing for my home.
My favorite pasttime is not going shopping at the mall, it is going shopping at a good yard sale, or fantastic estate sale or a big flea market. The thrill of finding that special something is better than chocolate (and I love chocolate). I'm even one of those ladies that stop and load my car with the cast offs on the side of the curb. Some of the curb trash becomes my best finds.
I'm at home here in Fort Worth, Texas and love it. I have a married daughter, Kim. She doesn't have any children only three cats. I also have a married son, Kent. He has two sons, Bryce and camron. Also one daughter, Payton. She is the one that comes and paints with me. And she loves to use my beads to make jewelry. Grand-daughters are so much fun.

Beautiful. I want one. How does it like 110 degrees. :(
Hi Lucy~
It only blooms for a short time at the first of spring. In another week it will be gone. Then only green leaves.
Smiles,
Pat

It is so beautiful but so sad that it will be gone in a short time:((

I found you through Charlene's blog and your Wisteria is indeed just stunning. So pretty. Thanks for the beautiful pictures. Hugs, Marty
Wisteria is one of my favorites, I used to love seeing the trees covered in purple. I'd only wish it would last all spring and summer long!
